The Messy Movement four week series is a class that we want you to make apart of your daily lifestyle. When you are starting that journey towards cultivating for the first time or deepening your awareness of your sexual self through movement, the thing to keep in mind is that consistency begets results. Here’s how we imagine your journey as a member over the course of let’s say one year.
First Four Week Series:
•(Re)connect to the practice
•Set new intentions and goals
•Get familiar with movement
•Awareness of emotional/physical/life reality obstacles to coming to class.
•Learn where you body is feeling the most freedom and discomfort
Your Second-Sixth Four Week Series:
•More comfortable with self-starting movement in class and outside of class space.
•Deeper relationship to self-touch and self-intimacy.
•Learning to play with creative expression in class through costumes, mood, set design and more.
•Making pleasure a priority in other ways outside of movement.
Your Seventh-Twelth Four Week Series:
•Completed the full messy movement cycle.
•Comfortable exploring various emotional ranges in relationship to erotic energy and power
•Familiar with the practice as a daily part of life.
•Comfortable listening to and honoring the body.
Do you see what we mean? When you give your body and mind time to process the new information, you have a better chance at retaining it and making a transformative shift. If you attempt to cram every goal into one series, you’ll likely walk away drained and overrun. Your body needs time to learn this new language and understand that it is safe to enjoy this time.
So whether this is your 50th time or first time on the dance floor with us know that there is always something more to discover in the movement.
