The Messy Movement Lab Terms & Conditions
COVID Precautions
For In-Person Gatherings
PLEASE READ
I want to thank the National Black Justice Food Alliance for providing a framework for in person gatherings that acknowledges risk and how to take action in securing the space for the collective.
If you are joining us in person for any other in-person gathering hosted by The Messy Movement Lab®️ please see details below. We will make it a priority to continue to make virtual classrooms available for non-local and at-risk guests to attend.
We ask that ALL guests practice CDC-recommended guidelines for travel and face-to-face contact.
We ask ALL guests to adhere to the safety procedures set forth by The Messy Movement Lab®️ and the host site to ensure a safe and memorable gathering.
In solidarity with the caregivers, disabled, and auto-immune compromised communities, we will be offering a virtual class option to support accessibility and reduce the risk of engagement. Everyone is required to agree to the terms and conditions of our COVID policies to enjoy the space.
If you find that you’ve purchased an in-person ticket and you happen to contract COVID or any immune-compromising infection within 72 hours of class, you can reach out via email at support@themessymovementlab.com to switch your ticket to a virtual ticket at no additional cost.
We ask that a PCR COVID Test be taken a maximum of 72 hours before arrival. (covered by guests). This is for your own personal accountability for guarding the space and to give you time to adjust travel plans as needed. We also suggest personal air filters as well for additional support. These can be ordered online.
Rapid testing is required before entry into the class space. These will be provided by The Messy Movement Lab® Please note we do require the rapid test before entering the space, no exceptions. If your rapid test is positive, you will not be allowed to enter the physical class space. You will be provided with a digital class option to be scheduled via email.
Masks will be required in the movement space with flexibility for mask breaks as needed for airflow and water breaks. The Messy Movement Lab® will provide masks. Please be mindful of social distancing and asking for consent in physically interacting with other guests in the in-person space. If you need a longer time without your mask on we will ask you to step out into the open air while you allow your body to reset and recover.
There is limited space in common areas please allow for social distancing as much as possible.
Encouraged but not required: Be fully vaccinated and boosted before arrival.
